Lumo works like Uber for everything — from moving a couch to walking a dog to fixing a leaky pipe. Customers post what they need; nearby providers surface based on GPS distance and rating. Auto-quote calculators handle the pricing for ~30 common categories; everything else goes out to competitive bids.
Every payment runs through escrow: a 10% deposit locks in the provider, and the remaining 90% releases only after the customer confirms the work is done. Providers get paid same-day via Stripe Connect. There are no lead fees, no boost fees, and no monthly minimums.
