Finding Good Work in Aba Just Got Easier

If you live in Aba and you're looking for work that respects your time and pays what you're actually worth, this is for you. Too many people with real skills—driving, assembling furniture, caring for animals—are stuck in situations where they're underpaid or can't control their schedule. Lumo is building something different: a marketplace where you choose the jobs, set your own hours, and keep 90% of every naira you earn.

Right now, Lumo is recruiting 300 contractors across Aba. There are no jobs posted yet, but by signing up today you'll be first in line when local customers start requesting help. Whether you're in Ariaria, Eziama, or anywhere else in the city, the work will come to your area—deliveries across town, furniture that needs assembling in someone's home, neighbors who need their pets looked after while they travel.

Three Types of Work, You Pick What Fits

Every job on Lumo is one you accept or skip. Here's what will be available:

• Delivery: Move food, groceries, and packages around Aba by car, bike, or scooter. You choose which deliveries to take and when.
• Furniture assembly: Help people put together beds, desks, shelves, and flat-pack furniture. Good for anyone handy with tools who likes straightforward, finished-in-an-afternoon work.
• Pet care: Dog walking, pet sitting, drop-in visits. Perfect if you're comfortable with animals and want flexible, rewarding gigs.

You're not locked into one type. Accept the jobs that make sense for your day.

The Loyalty Bonus: 133,162 NGN

Complete your first 100 jobs on Lumo and you'll earn a loyalty bonus of 133,162 NGN (about $100 USD) on top of your regular pay. You get paid the same day for every job, and the bonus rewards the contractors who help build Lumo in Aba from the beginning.
