Abuja: Your Skills Are Worth More Than You're Being Paid

The Job Search Doesn't Have To Mean Starting Over

If you've been looking for work in Abuja, you know how exhausting it can be. Applications disappear into silence. Interviews lead nowhere. And when opportunities do come, the pay rarely matches the effort required or the skills you bring.

Here's what most job listings won't tell you: you already have skills that people need right now. You don't need another certificate or connection to start earning. You need a platform that pays you what your time and work are actually worth.

That's what Lumo is building in Abuja. We're a marketplace where people post local jobs and independent contractors choose which ones to accept. You set your hours, you keep 90% of what you earn, and you get paid the same day you complete the work.

Three Ways To Start Earning

Lumo is currently recruiting 300 contractors across Abuja. Here's the kind of work available:

• Delivery: Moving food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter. If you know the roads and have reliable transport, you're qualified. You decide which deliveries to take based on distance and pay.
• Mobile car detailing: Washing and detailing vehicles right in the customer's driveway. Perfect for anyone with an eye for detail who prefers hands-on work. You bring your supplies, they provide the location.
• Pet care: Dog walking, pet sitting and drop-in visits for families who need trustworthy help. If you're comfortable with animals and responsible, this work suits you.

Every job is one you choose to accept. No shifts you didn't agree to. No mystery pay.

A Bonus For Getting Started Early

Lumo is offering a loyalty bonus of 133,268 NGN (about $100 USD) to the first contractors who complete 100 jobs. There are 100 bonus spots available, and it's a straightforward way to add real money on top of what you're already earning per job.

You're not starting over. You're finally getting paid fairly for what you already know how to do. Apply on Lumo today and get ready to work on your terms.
