Abuja: Keep 90% of What You Earn — Your Skills Are Worth More
You're Already Skilled Enough — You're Just Not Paid Enough
Finding decent work in Abuja right now isn't easy. Too many jobs pay far less than the effort they demand, and too many skilled people are stuck earning a fraction of what their work is actually worth. If you can drive across the city, keep a garden tidy, or fix things around the house, you already have skills that people need every day — and those skills deserve fair compensation.
Lumo is a marketplace connecting independent contractors with customers who need local help. You set your own schedule, choose which jobs to accept, and most importantly: you keep 90% of what the customer pays. You get paid the same day, every time.
Three Types of Work, All on Your Terms
Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter People across Abuja — from Maitama to Wuse, Garki to Asokoro — need reliable delivery. If you have transportation and know the city, you're already qualified. Accept the deliveries that work for your day.
Yard work: mowing, raking, hedge trimming and garden clean-ups Many homeowners need regular help keeping their compounds and gardens maintained. If you're comfortable with outdoor work and basic tools, this is straightforward income on a schedule you control.
Handyman repairs: mounting TVs, fixing doors, patching walls and small repairs Small repairs add up fast for families and landlords. Mounting a TV, fixing a squeaky door, patching a wall — these are tasks you likely already know how to do, and people will pay well for the convenience.
A Loyalty Bonus Worth Your Time
Lumo is recruiting 300 contractors in Abuja right now. Complete your first 100 jobs and you'll earn a loyalty bonus of 132,572 NGN (about $100 USD) — on top of what you've already been paid for the work itself.
Jobs open as customers post them. The sooner you're approved, the sooner you can start.
