Accra: Your Skills Are Worth More Than You're Being Paid

The Work Is There. The Pay Should Match.

Finding decent work in Accra right now feels harder than it should be. You have skills—you can drive across town, help someone move, fix what's broken, clean, run errands, care for pets, or help with tech problems. These aren't small things. They're exactly what your neighbors need, and they're worth real money.

The problem isn't your abilities. It's that too many opportunities underpay you for what you can actually do. You deserve to earn what your labor is worth, set your own schedule, and get paid without waiting weeks.

How Lumo Works for You

Lumo is a marketplace connecting independent contractors with people who need local help across Accra—from Osu to Dzorwulu to Labadi and beyond. You choose the jobs that fit your schedule and skills. You keep 90% of what you earn. And here's the part that makes a real difference: you get paid the same day you complete the work.

No waiting for payroll. No wondering when the money will hit your account. You do the job, you get paid.

• You set your hours around your life, not the other way around
• You keep 90% of every job you complete
• You get paid same-day through mobile money
• Loyalty bonus: Complete your first 100 jobs and earn an extra 1,165 GHS (about $100 USD)

You Already Have What It Takes

Whether you're navigating traffic to East Legon or helping a family in Tema, the skills you use every day are exactly what Lumo contractors offer.
