Accra: Turn What You Already Know Into Real Income on Your Own Schedule

The Skills You Have Are Worth More

Finding reliable work in Accra that actually pays what you're worth isn't easy. You already know how to drive across town, handle heavy lifting, or keep a garden looking sharp. Those aren't small skills—they're exactly what your neighbors need help with every day. The problem is that too many jobs underpay for that kind of work, or lock you into someone else's schedule.

Lumo is a marketplace connecting independent contractors with local people who need help. You choose the jobs, set your hours, keep 90% of what you earn, and get paid the same day. No boss, no fixed shift—just your skills, your time, your terms. Right now, Lumo is recruiting 300 contractors in Accra to be ready as jobs get posted by customers across the city.

Three Types of Work, All on Your Schedule

Here's what's available:

• Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter – If you've got wheels and know the roads, you can take delivery jobs when they suit you. Perfect for anyone who's comfortable navigating Accra traffic and wants flexibility.
• Yard work: mowing, raking, hedge trimming and garden clean-ups – For those who don't mind working outdoors and know their way around basic garden tools. You accept the jobs that fit your schedule and skill level.
• Moving help: loading trucks, carrying furniture and small moves – If you can lift, carry, and handle furniture safely, there's steady demand. Great for anyone with stamina who wants physical work that pays properly.

You're not locked into one type. You choose which jobs to accept based on what works for you.

A Bonus That Rewards Real Work

Complete your first 100 jobs and Lumo pays you a loyalty bonus of 1,166 GHS (about $100 USD). It's our way of recognizing contractors who show up and do the work. There are 100 bonus spots available right now for new sign-ups in Accra.

You've already got what it takes. Now it's time to earn what you're actually worth. Apply on Lumo today and start on your own terms.
