Turn Your Everyday Skills Into Real Income in Almaty
Your Skills Are Worth More Than You're Being Paid
Finding decent work in Almaty right now shouldn't be this hard. You have skills—you can drive across the city, you know how to lift heavy furniture, you can fix a door or mount a TV—but too many jobs either don't pay what that's worth or lock you into schedules that don't fit your life.
Lumo is a marketplace where people in Almaty post jobs they need done, and you decide which ones to take. You set your hours, you keep 90% of what you earn, and you get paid the same day. No waiting two weeks. No being undervalued. Just fair pay for real work.
Three Types of Work, All on Your Terms
Lumo is currently recruiting 300 independent contractors in Almaty across these areas:
- Delivery: Drive food, groceries, and packages across neighborhoods from Medeu to Bostandyk to Almaly—by car, bike, or scooter. You choose the orders that make sense for you.
- Moving help: Help neighbors load trucks, carry furniture, and handle small moves. If you're comfortable with physical work and have a reliable back, this pays well.
- Handyman repairs: Mount TVs, fix doors, patch walls, handle the small repairs that every apartment needs. If you've got a toolkit and know how to use it, people will pay for your time.
Every job is one you accept or skip. No one assigns you work. No one controls your calendar.
A Loyalty Bonus That Rewards Consistency
Complete your first 100 jobs on Lumo and you'll earn a 45,262 KZT loyalty bonus (about $100 USD). There are 100 bonus spots available for contractors who sign up now and hit that milestone. It's straightforward: do the work, build your reputation, and get paid extra for sticking with it.
You Already Have What It Takes
You don't need new training. You don't need to wait for someone to hire you. If you can drive across Almaty, lift a couch, or tighten a loose hinge, you can start earning what your labor is actually worth.
