Auckland: Turn the Skills You Already Have Into Real Income on Lumo

You Already Know How to Do This Work

Finding decent work in Auckland shouldn't feel like a gamble. Whether you're between jobs, studying, or just want flexibility around your life, the truth is simple: the things you already know how to do—driving across town, fixing a door hinge, changing a flat tyre—are worth real money. Lumo is a marketplace that connects independent contractors with people who need help, and right now we're looking for 300 contractors across Auckland to get ready as local jobs start coming in.

You're not applying for a traditional job. You're signing up to offer the skills you already have, on your own schedule, and keeping 90% of every dollar you earn. You get paid the same day, every time.

Three Types of Work You Can Do on Lumo

Lumo lets you choose the jobs that suit your skills, your vehicle, and your day. Here's what's available:

• Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter – Pick up and drop off across Auckland's neighborhoods. If you've got reliable transport and know your way around the city, you're already qualified. Accept the deliveries that fit your route and your time.
• Handyman repairs: mounting TVs, fixing doors, patching walls and small repairs – If you're handy and have basic tools, locals need your help. Small jobs, fair pay, and you decide which ones to take.
• Roadside assistance: jump-starts, flat-tyre changes, lockouts and fuel drop-offs – Help someone stranded on the side of the road. If you've got jumper leads, a jack, or just the willingness to bring someone petrol, this work pays well and feels good.

You're in control. Browse available jobs, accept the ones you want, and decline the rest. No pressure, no shifts, no boss.

A Bonus That Rewards Loyalty

Complete your first 100 jobs on Lumo and you'll earn a 177 NZD loyalty bonus (about $100 USD). It's our way of saying thanks for sticking around and doing great work. There are 100 bonus spots available right now for Auckland contractors who sign up early.
