Benin City: Keep 90% of What You Earn on Lumo
You're Worth More Than You're Being Paid
Finding decent work in Benin City is harder than it should be. Too many people with real skills—people who can drive across town, carry heavy loads, or fix a roadside problem—are working for less than their labor is actually worth. If you've been underpaid for what you can do, it's time for something different.
Lumo is a marketplace that connects you directly with people who need help. You keep 90% of what the customer pays. No middleman taking half your earnings. No waiting weeks for your money. You get paid the same day, and you control your schedule completely.
Right now, Lumo is looking for 300 contractors in Benin City to be ready when local jobs start coming in. Whether you live around Ring Road, New Benin, or Ugbowo, there's work that needs doing—and you can finally earn what it's worth.
Three Types of Work You Can Do
Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter If you have a vehicle and know the streets of Benin City, delivery work is straightforward. Customers need meals, groceries, and parcels moved quickly. You choose which deliveries to accept and when you're available.
Moving help: loading trucks, carrying furniture and small moves People are always relocating, rearranging, or clearing out spaces. If you can lift and don't mind physical work, moving jobs pay well and are often completed in a few hours. You decide which jobs fit your day.
Roadside assistance: jump-starts, flat-tire changes, lockouts and fuel drop-offs Drivers get stranded. Batteries die, tires go flat, keys get locked inside. If you have basic tools and know how to help, roadside work is in demand and appreciated. Accept the calls that make sense for you.
Earn a Loyalty Bonus
Complete your first 100 jobs and Lumo pays you a 133,268 NGN loyalty bonus (about $100 USD). That's on top of what you've already earned from the jobs themselves. There are 100 bonus spots available for contractors who sign up and follow through.
