Brisbane: Get Paid What You're Worth—Same Day, Every Day
Finding Fair Work Shouldn't Be This Hard
If you live in Brisbane and you've been searching for work that actually pays what you're worth, you already know how frustrating it is. Too many jobs underpay, lock you into rigid schedules, or take days to process your earnings. You have skills—driving, doing laundry, caring for animals—that people need every single day. Those skills have real value, and it's time you were paid accordingly.
Lumo is a marketplace that connects independent contractors with local customers who need help with everyday tasks. You choose the jobs you want, set your own schedule, keep 90% of what you earn, and get paid the same day you complete the work. No waiting. No guessing what you'll take home.
Three Ways to Earn on Your Terms
Lumo is currently recruiting 300 contractors across Brisbane, and jobs open as customers post them. Here's the kind of work available:
Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter If you've got reliable transport and know your way around Brisbane—from Fortitude Valley to Toowong to Sunnybank—delivery work lets you earn on your own schedule. You decide which delivery requests to accept and when you're available.
Laundry pickup: collect, wash, fold and return laundry for busy neighbors This suits anyone who's organised and thorough. You pick up laundry from local customers, wash and fold it at home or a laundromat, then return it. It's straightforward work that fits around your life.
Pet care: dog walking, pet sitting and drop-in visits If you're good with animals, there's steady demand from pet owners who need reliable help. You choose which pets to care for and build your own roster of clients.
A Loyalty Bonus That Rewards Commitment
Complete your first 100 jobs and you'll earn a 142 AUD bonus (about $100 USD). It's our way of recognising contractors who stick around and do great work.
