Budapest: Turn What You Already Do Into Real Income on Lumo

Your Skills Are Worth More Than You're Being Paid

Finding decent work in Budapest shouldn't feel this hard. Whether you're between jobs, looking to supplement your income, or just want control over your own schedule, the truth is simple: the everyday skills you already have—driving across town, tidying up a yard, picking up prescriptions—are worth real money. You shouldn't have to settle for less.

Lumo is a marketplace that connects independent contractors with local customers who need help with practical, everyday jobs. You choose the work that fits your life, set your own hours, and keep 90% of what you earn. No boss, no fixed shift, no waiting two weeks to see your money. You get paid the same day.

Three Ways to Earn in Budapest

Lumo is currently recruiting 300 contractors across the city. Here's the kind of work available as customers post jobs:

• Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter – If you know your way around Budapest, from Pest to Buda and everywhere in between, delivery work lets you earn while you move. You decide which deliveries to accept and when to work.
• Yard work: mowing, raking, hedge trimming and garden clean-ups – Whether it's a small courtyard in Belváros or a larger garden out in Zugló or Óbuda, plenty of residents need seasonal help. If you're comfortable with basic outdoor tasks, this work suits you.
• Errands: pharmacy runs, returns, waiting in line and shopping trips – Life gets busy. People need someone reliable to handle the small things—picking up medicine, dropping off a return, standing in line at the post office. If you're organized and dependable, errands are steady work.

You're not locked into one type of job. Accept what works for you, skip what doesn't.

A Bonus That Rewards Loyalty

Complete your first 100 jobs on Lumo and you'll earn a loyalty bonus of 32,741 HUF (about $100 USD). It's our way of recognizing contractors who show up and do the work.
