Cape Town: Sign Up Now and Be First in Line for Local Jobs on Lumo

Good Work Is Hard to Find Right Now

If you live in Cape Town and you're looking for flexible ways to earn, you already know how tough the market can be. Too many people with real skills—driving, cleaning, fixing things—are either underemployed or underpaid for what they can actually do. The work is out there, but finding the right opportunities that respect your time and pay you fairly shouldn't be this hard.

Lumo is a new marketplace connecting independent contractors with neighbors who need help. We're recruiting 300 contractors across Cape Town right now, so when local customers start posting jobs, you'll be ready to go.

Three Types of Work, You Choose What Fits

When you sign up, you decide which jobs to accept. Here's what's available:

• Delivery: Move food, groceries, and packages across town by car, bike, or scooter. Perfect if you know the streets from Sea Point to Khayelitsha, or from the City Bowl out to Constantia.
• Rides: Drive neighbors to work, appointments, and the airport. If you've got a reliable car and know your way around Cape Town's routes, this work suits you.
• Home cleaning: Apartments, houses, and move-out cleans. Ideal if you're thorough, trustworthy, and take pride in leaving a space spotless.

You're not locked into one type—accept the jobs that make sense for your schedule and skills.

Keep 90%, Get Paid the Same Day, Earn What You're Worth

Here's how Lumo works: you keep 90% of what the customer pays for every job. You get paid the same day. You set your own hours. And when you complete your first 100 jobs, you earn a loyalty bonus of 1,664 ZAR (about $100 USD).

No surprises, no waiting two weeks for your money, no someone else deciding what your labor is worth.

Sign Up Now and Be Ready

Customers in Cape Town will start posting jobs soon. The contractors who sign up now will be first in line to see them. If you've been looking for work that respects your time and pays you fairly, this is it.
