Chennai: Sign Up Now on Lumo and Be First in Line for Local Jobs
Good Work on Your Terms Is Coming to Chennai
Finding fair-paying work that respects your time shouldn't be this hard. If you live in Chennai and you've got skills—driving a bike or car, assembling furniture, or caring for pets—those skills are worth real money. Lumo is building a marketplace where you keep 90% of what you earn, set your own schedule, and get paid the same day you complete a job.
We're recruiting 300 contractors across Chennai right now. Jobs will open as local customers post them, and the people who sign up first will be first in line when that happens. Whether you're in T. Nagar, Adyar, Velachery, or anywhere else in the city, you can start earning what your labor is actually worth.
Three Types of Work, You Choose What Fits
Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter If you've got a vehicle and know your way around Chennai's roads, delivery work lets you move at your own pace. You see the job details and payment upfront, and you decide which orders to accept.
Furniture assembly: putting together beds, desks, shelves and flat-pack furniture Good with tools and instructions? Furniture assembly jobs are straightforward, often indoors, and pay well for a few hours of focused work. You pick the jobs that suit your schedule.
Pet care: dog walking, pet sitting and drop-in visits If you're comfortable with animals, pet care is reliable work. Families and busy professionals need someone dependable to walk their dog, check in on their pet, or watch them for a day or weekend.
