Columbus: Turn the Skills You Already Have Into Real Income Today
The Job Search Is Exhausting—But You Already Have What It Takes
If you've been searching for work in Columbus lately, you know how draining it can be. Applications disappear into the void, interviews lead nowhere, and too many positions pay far less than the effort they demand. Meanwhile, the skills you already have—driving across town, assembling furniture, or cleaning up a yard—are worth real money right now.
Lumo is a marketplace that connects independent contractors with people in Columbus who need help with everyday jobs. You set your own hours, choose which jobs to accept, and keep 90% of what you earn. You get paid the same day. No waiting on someone else's schedule to finally earn what your labor is actually worth.
We're currently looking for 300 contractors across Columbus to be ready as local jobs are posted by customers in neighborhoods like the Short North, German Village, Grandview, OSU Campus, and Downtown.
Three Ways to Start Earning
Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter If you've got reliable transportation and know your way around Columbus, delivery work lets you move at your own pace. Accept the runs that make sense for your day.
Furniture assembly: putting together beds, desks, shelves and flat-pack furniture People always need help with flat-pack furniture. If you're patient with instructions and handy with an Allen wrench, this work suits you—and you decide which jobs to take.
Yard work: mowing, raking, hedge trimming and garden clean-ups Columbus yards need care year-round. If you don't mind physical work outdoors and have basic tools, there's steady demand. You choose the jobs that fit your schedule.
