Ibadan Workers: Keep 90% of What You Earn on Lumo

You're Worth More Than You're Being Paid

If you live in Ibadan and you've been feeling underpaid for the work you do, you're not imagining it. Too many skilled people in our city—drivers, those who know their way around tools, anyone reliable enough to help neighbors with everyday tasks—are earning far less than their labor is worth.

The truth is simple: the skills you already have are valuable. You know how to navigate Ibadan's roads, whether it's getting from Bodija to Ring Road or making your way through Challenge. You can change a tire, jump-start a car, or put together furniture that actually stays standing. These aren't small things—they're exactly what people need help with every day.

Lumo is a marketplace connecting independent contractors with local customers who need real help. You choose which jobs to accept, set your own schedule, and here's the part that matters most: you keep 90% of what the customer pays. You get paid the same day, directly to your account. No waiting, no surprise deductions.

Three Types of Work Open in Ibadan

Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter If you have reliable transport and know Ibadan well, delivery work lets you earn on your own time. You decide which delivery jobs to take and when to work.

Roadside assistance: jump-starts, flat-tire changes, lockouts and fuel drop-offs People get stranded every day. If you're comfortable with basic vehicle help, this work suits you. Accept the calls you want, help someone out, and earn what you deserve.

Furniture assembly: putting together beds, desks, shelves and flat-pack furniture If you're handy and patient with instructions, furniture assembly is steady work. Customers need help, and you get to choose which jobs fit your schedule.
