Johannesburg: Keep 90% of What You Earn—Finally Get Paid What You're Worth

You're Worth More Than You're Being Paid

Finding decent work in Johannesburg right now shouldn't feel this hard. Too many people with real skills—driving across town, caring for animals, keeping homes spotless—are being underpaid for what they can actually do. You know your time and effort are worth more.

Lumo is a marketplace where you finally keep what you earn. When you complete a job, you take home 90% of what the customer pays. No hidden fees eating into your wages. No waiting weeks for your money. You get paid the same day, every time.

We're looking for 300 independent contractors across Johannesburg who are ready to work on their own terms. You choose which jobs to accept, set your own schedule, and earn what your labor is actually worth.

Three Types of Work Available

Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter If you've got reliable transport and know your way around Johannesburg, delivery work lets you earn while you drive. You decide which delivery jobs to take and when you're available.

Pet care: dog walking, pet sitting and drop-in visits Love animals? Johannesburg families need trustworthy people to walk their dogs, watch their pets while they're away, or stop by for feeding and care. You choose the pets you work with.

Home cleaning: apartments, homes and move-out cleans If you're thorough and take pride in a job well done, there's steady demand for quality cleaning across the city. From regular home cleans to deep move-out work, you accept the jobs that suit you.

A Bonus for Getting Started

Complete your first 100 jobs and you'll earn a loyalty bonus of 1,664 ZAR (about $100 USD). It's our way of recognizing contractors who show up and do the work.
