Johannesburg: Keep 90% of What You Earn—Your Work Deserves Fair Pay
You're Worth More Than You're Being Paid
Finding decent work in Johannesburg right now is harder than it should be. Too many people with real skills—driving, fixing things, helping with tech—are stuck in jobs that underpay them or offer no flexibility. If you can drive across town, mount a TV, or set up a router, you already have what it takes to earn properly.
Lumo is a marketplace where customers post local jobs and you decide which ones to accept. You keep 90% of what the customer pays—no hidden fees, no surprises. You get paid the same day, every time. And right now, Lumo is looking for 300 independent contractors across Johannesburg to be ready when jobs start coming in.
Three Types of Work, Your Choice
Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter Customers need meals, groceries, and parcels moved quickly. If you have reliable transport and know your way around the city, you're already qualified. Accept the deliveries that make sense for your schedule and route.
Handyman repairs: mounting TVs, fixing doors, patching walls and small repairs Every neighbourhood has homes and offices that need small fixes—hanging pictures, repairing a door handle, patching drywall. If you're handy and have basic tools, these jobs are straightforward and pay well.
Tech help: setting up Wi-Fi, TVs, printers and phones Not everyone is comfortable with technology. If you can connect a printer, configure a smart TV, or troubleshoot a phone, you can help people who need it and earn for skills you might take for granted.
You choose which jobs to accept. No pressure, no quotas.
A Loyalty Bonus That Rewards Your Work
