Kampala: Get Paid What You're Actually Worth — Same Day

Finding Good Work Shouldn't Be This Hard

Too many people in Kampala work long hours for pay that doesn't match the effort they put in. Whether you're navigating traffic from Nakawa to Kololo, helping a neighbor fix their internet, or managing someone's weekly laundry, the skills you already have are worth real money. The problem isn't you — it's that too many work options undervalue what you bring.

Lumo is changing that. We're a marketplace that connects independent contractors with people who need local help, and we're recruiting 300 contractors in Kampala right now. You set your own hours, choose which jobs to accept, keep 90% of what you earn, and get paid the same day you complete the work. No waiting weeks for a paycheck. No wondering if your time is respected.

Three Ways to Earn on Lumo

Lumo has work that fits different skills and schedules. Here's what's available:

• Delivery: Move food, groceries, and packages across Kampala by car, bike, or scooter. You pick the deliveries that work for your route and your day. Perfect if you know the city and want flexibility.
• Tech help: Set up Wi-Fi routers, connect TVs, troubleshoot printers, and help people get their phones working properly. If you're the person friends call when something won't connect, this is for you.
• Laundry pickup: Collect laundry from busy neighbors, wash and fold it, then return it on time. Ideal if you're detail-oriented and want steady, manageable work you can do from home.

You're not locked into one type — accept the jobs that suit your schedule and skills.

You Decide What Your Time Is Worth

On Lumo, you're not an employee grinding for someone else's margin. You're an independent contractor keeping 90% of every job. You work when it makes sense for you, and you get paid the same day. Plus, complete your first 100 jobs and you'll earn a loyalty bonus of 412,643 UGX (about $100 USD).

Kampala needs people who can get things done. If that's you, it's time to get paid what your work is actually worth. Apply on Lumo today.
