Kampala: Turn Your Skills Into Real Income on Your Own Schedule

Finding Good Work Shouldn't Be This Hard

If you live in Kampala, you already know the daily hustle. Whether you're navigating traffic between Ntinda and the city centre or looking for work that respects what your time is actually worth, the struggle is real. Too many jobs underpay for the effort you put in, and too many employers expect you to work their hours, not yours.

The skills you already have—driving, cleaning, fixing tech problems—are worth real money. You shouldn't have to settle for less.

Lumo is building a marketplace where Kampala residents can earn what their labor is actually worth, on their own schedule. We're recruiting 300 contractors right now across the city. Sign up today, get approved, and you'll be first in line when local customers begin posting jobs in the coming weeks.

Three Types of Work, You Choose What Fits

Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter If you've got a vehicle and know Kampala's streets, delivery work lets you earn on every run. You choose which deliveries to accept, when to work, and which neighborhoods to serve—whether that's Kololo, Bugolobi, or anywhere else.

Mobile car detailing: washing and detailing cars right in the customer's driveway People need their cars cleaned, but they don't have time to drive somewhere and wait. You bring the service to them. If you're good with your hands and take pride in a job done right, this work suits you.

Tech help: setting up Wi-Fi, TVs, printers and phones Not everyone knows how to connect a printer or configure a router. If you're comfortable with technology, you can help neighbors solve these everyday frustrations and get paid well for it.
