Turn What You Already Know Into Real Income in Kano

You Already Have the Skills People Need

Finding good work in Kano shouldn't be this hard. Too many capable people are underpaid or sitting idle when they could be earning from skills they already have. If you can drive across the city, put together furniture, or handle laundry, neighbors around you need that help—and they're willing to pay fairly for it.

Lumo is a new marketplace connecting independent contractors in Kano with local jobs. You choose the work that fits your day, set your own hours, and keep 90% of what you earn. No boss, no fixed schedule, just straightforward work that respects your time and skills.

Three Ways to Earn Right Now

Lumo is recruiting 300 contractors in Kano, and these are the jobs opening as customers post them:

• Delivery: Transport food, groceries, and packages across Kano by car, bike, or scooter. Perfect if you know the roads and can move quickly through the city.
• Furniture assembly: Put together beds, desks, shelves, and flat-pack furniture for people who don't have the time or tools. Great for anyone who's handy and patient with instructions.
• Laundry pickup: Collect laundry from busy neighbors, wash and fold it, then return it on time. Ideal if you're reliable, thorough, and have access to washing facilities.

You decide which jobs to accept. Every gig is a choice, not an obligation.

Earn What Your Work Is Actually Worth

When you complete your first 100 jobs on Lumo, you'll receive a loyalty bonus of 132,980 NGN (about $100 USD)—on top of your regular pay. You get paid the same day you finish a job, and you always keep 90% of what the customer pays.

This is work on your terms. Whether you're between jobs, supplementing your income, or building something independent, Lumo gives you a fair shot at earning what your labor is worth.
