Kano Workers: Keep 90% of What You Earn on Lumo
You're Already Doing the Work—Why Not Keep What You Earn?
If you live in Kano and you've been driving okada, making deliveries, or running errands for others, you already know the truth: finding reliable work that pays what you're worth is harder than it should be. Too many platforms and employers take the largest share while you do all the work.
Lumo is different. We're building a marketplace where independent contractors across Kano keep 90% of what customers pay—because your time, your fuel, your effort, and your skills deserve fair compensation. You get paid the same day, you choose which jobs to accept, and you work when it fits your life.
Right now, Lumo is recruiting 300 contractors in Kano to be ready as local customers begin posting jobs. The first 100 who complete 100 jobs will earn a loyalty bonus of 132,980 NGN (about $100 USD).
Three Types of Work You Can Do
Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter Whether you're moving lunch orders from Sabon Gari restaurants or groceries from Fagge markets to customers across the city, delivery work suits anyone with a bike, scooter, or car and knowledge of Kano's neighborhoods.
Rides: driving neighbors to work, appointments and the airport If you have a car and enjoy meeting people, driving is steady work. Take neighbors to the office in the morning, appointments during the day, or out to Mallam Aminu Kano International when they travel.
Laundry pickup: collect, wash, fold and return laundry for busy neighbors This suits anyone with time, attention to detail, and access to reliable washing. Collect clothes from customers, wash and fold them well, and return them fresh—it's simple work that busy families truly need.
