Kolkata: Your Skills Are Worth More Than You're Being Paid

The Job Search Doesn't Have to Be This Hard

If you've been looking for work in Kolkata lately, you already know how frustrating it is. Applications disappear into silence. Wages barely cover rent and commutes. And too many positions want you available around the clock for pay that doesn't reflect the effort.

But here's something worth knowing: the skills you already use every day—driving through Kolkata traffic, lifting heavy items, navigating shortcuts across the city—are worth real money. Right now.

Lumo is a marketplace connecting Kolkata residents with neighbors who need help with everyday tasks. We're looking for 300 independent contractors to join as we grow in the city. You choose which jobs to accept, set your own hours, and keep 90% of what you earn. You get paid the same day, and you're finally in control of what your time is worth.

Three Ways to Start Earning

Here's the kind of work available on Lumo:

• Delivery: Restaurants, grocery stores, and individuals need reliable people to deliver food, groceries, and packages across Kolkata. Whether you have a car, bike, or scooter, you can start picking up delivery jobs that fit your route and schedule.

• Rides: Neighbors need safe, dependable rides—to work in the morning, medical appointments, family visits, or Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport. If you have a vehicle and know the city, you can offer rides on your own terms.

• Moving help: People are always moving flats, rearranging furniture, or need an extra pair of hands loading a truck. If you're comfortable with physical work, moving jobs pay well and you decide which ones to take.

Every job is your choice. No pressure, no rigid shifts.

A Bonus That Rewards Your Commitment

Complete your first 100 jobs on Lumo and you'll earn a loyalty bonus of 9,518 INR (about $100 USD). It's our way of saying thank you for being part of something better.

Work in Kolkata is changing. You shouldn't have to settle for less than your skills are worth. Apply today on Lumo and start earning on your own terms.
