Kolkata: Turn Your Everyday Skills Into Real Income on Your Schedule
Your Skills Are Worth More Than You're Getting Paid
If you live in Kolkata, you already know how tough the job market can be right now. Too many people with real skills—driving through the city's traffic, caring for animals, maintaining outdoor spaces—are working long hours for less than their labor is worth. You shouldn't have to choose between flexibility and fair pay.
Lumo is a marketplace that connects independent contractors with local customers who need help. You use the skills you already have, choose the jobs you want, and finally earn what your time is actually worth. You keep 90% of every job, set your own schedule completely, and get paid the same day you complete the work.
Three Types of Work, All on Your Terms
Lumo is currently bringing on 300 contractors across Kolkata. Here's the work available:
- Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter – Whether you're navigating Park Street, South Kolkata, or Salt Lake, if you know the roads and can move things reliably, customers need you. Accept the deliveries that work for your day.
- Yard work: mowing, raking, hedge trimming and garden clean-ups – Homes and businesses across the city need outdoor maintenance. If you're comfortable with physical work and basic garden tools, these jobs let you work outside and see immediate results.
- Pet care: dog walking, pet sitting and drop-in visits – Many Kolkata pet owners need trustworthy help while they're at work or traveling. If you're good with animals and reliable, these jobs offer quiet, rewarding work on your schedule.
You're never locked in—every job is one you choose to accept.
A Bonus That Rewards Your Commitment
Complete your first 100 jobs on Lumo and you'll earn a loyalty bonus of 9,459 INR (about $100 USD). It's our way of recognizing contractors who show up and do great work.
