Kolkata: Your Skills Are Already Worth Money – Start Earning on Lumo

Finding Work Shouldn't Be This Hard

If you've been searching for decent work in Kolkata, you already know how frustrating it is. Applications disappear into the void. Wages don't match the effort. Commutes eat half your day, and rigid schedules leave no room for life. Meanwhile, you have real skills—you can navigate this city's streets, you know how to fix a door hinge, you can assemble furniture without the instructions. Those skills are valuable, and they should be paying you what you're actually worth.

Lumo is a marketplace where Kolkata residents hire independent contractors for local jobs. You choose the work, set your own hours, and keep 90% of what you earn. No boss, no fixed schedule, no commute unless the job requires it. You get paid the same day, directly to your account.

Three Ways to Start Earning Now

Lumo is currently recruiting 300 contractors across Kolkata. Jobs open as customers post them, and you decide which ones to accept. Here's the kind of work available:

• Delivery: Transport food, groceries, and packages across the city by car, bike, or scooter. Perfect if you know the roads and have reliable transport.
• Furniture assembly: Put together beds, desks, shelves, and flat-pack furniture for people who'd rather pay than struggle with instructions. Great if you're patient and good with tools.
• Handyman repairs: Mount TVs, fix doors, patch walls, handle small repairs that don't need a full contractor. Ideal if you've always been the one friends call when something breaks.

Every job is yours to accept or skip. You're in control.
