Kumasi: Keep 90% of What You Earn – Your Skills Are Worth More
You're Worth More Than You're Being Paid
Finding decent work in Kumasi shouldn't be this hard. Too many people with real skills—drivers who know every shortcut from Adum to Asafo, cleaners who take pride in their work, workers who can assemble furniture with their eyes closed—are being paid far less than what their labor is worth.
Lumo is changing that. We're a marketplace connecting independent contractors directly with neighbors who need help. You keep 90% of what the customer pays. Not half. Not some mystery amount after fees and deductions. Ninety percent goes straight to you, and you get paid the same day you complete the job.
We're looking for 300 contractors across Kumasi right now. Whether you live in Bantama, near Kejetia Market, or anywhere in the Garden City, if you have skills that people need, you can start earning what you're actually worth.
Three Ways to Earn on Your Own Terms
You choose which jobs to accept and when you work. Here's what's available:
Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter If you have a vehicle and know Kumasi's roads, you can earn by delivering meals, groceries, and packages to customers across the city. Every delivery you accept is your choice.
Furniture assembly: putting together beds, desks, shelves and flat-pack furniture People buy furniture but need someone skilled to put it together properly. If you're good with tools and instructions, this work suits you. You decide which assembly jobs to take.
Home cleaning: apartments, homes and move-out cleans Families and professionals need reliable people to clean their homes and apartments. If you take pride in thorough, quality cleaning work, you choose the jobs that fit your schedule.
A Bonus That Rewards Your Commitment
Complete your first 100 jobs on Lumo and you'll earn a loyalty bonus of 1,170 GHS (about $100 USD). That's on top of keeping 90% of every single job along the way.
Your time and skills have value. It's time you were paid like it. Apply now on Lumo and start working on your terms in Kumasi.
