Kumasi: Your Skills Are Worth More Than You're Being Paid
The Job Search in Kumasi Is Exhausting
Anyone looking for work in Kumasi right now knows how frustrating it is. You send out applications, hear nothing back, or get offered wages that don't match the effort required. Meanwhile, you already have skills that people need every single day: you can navigate the city, you know how to get things clean, you can follow assembly instructions and use basic tools.
The truth is, finding good work is hard right now, and too many people are being underpaid for what they can actually do. Your time and labor are worth more than what most traditional jobs are offering. That's exactly why Lumo exists.
Three Ways to Start Earning in Kumasi
Lumo is recruiting 300 independent contractors in Kumasi to do local jobs that neighbors actually need. You choose which jobs to accept, set your own hours, and keep 90% of what you earn. Here's the kind of work available:
Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter If you have reliable transport and know your way around Kumasi, delivery work lets you earn while moving. You decide which delivery requests to accept based on distance, timing, and pay.
Laundry pickup: collect, wash, fold and return laundry for busy neighbors Perfect if you're detail-oriented and have access to washing facilities. You pick up laundry from customers, wash and fold it properly, then return it clean. It's straightforward work that busy families and professionals genuinely need.
Furniture assembly: putting together beds, desks, shelves and flat-pack furniture If you're handy with tools and can follow instructions, furniture assembly pays well. People buy flat-pack furniture but don't have the time or patience to put it together themselves.
Earn What Your Work Is Actually Worth
With Lumo, you get paid the same day you complete a job. No waiting weeks for a paycheck. Plus, the first 100 contractors who complete 100 jobs earn a loyalty bonus of 1,167 GHS (about $100 USD).
Your skills have value right now. Stop waiting for someone else to recognize that. Apply on Lumo today and start earning on your own terms.
