Kumasi: Your Skills Are Worth More Than You're Being Paid

The Job Search Struggle Is Real

If you've been looking for work in Kumasi, you know how exhausting it can be. You send applications, you wait, you hear nothing back. Or worse, you find something that pays far less than your time and effort are actually worth. Meanwhile, the skills you already have—driving across town, fixing household problems, doing yard work—are exactly what your neighbors need help with every single day.

The truth is, you shouldn't have to beg for opportunities when you're already capable of earning right now.

Work That Respects What You Can Do

Lumo is a marketplace connecting independent contractors with people in Kumasi who need reliable help with everyday jobs. You're not an employee—you're running your own small service business, and you decide which jobs to accept. Here's the kind of work available:

• Delivery: Transport food, groceries, and packages across Kumasi by car, bike, or scooter—perfect if you know the roads and want flexible hours
• Handyman repairs: Mount TVs, fix doors, patch walls, and handle small repairs for households that need a skilled hand
• Yard work: Mowing, raking, hedge trimming, and garden clean-ups—outdoor work that keeps Kumasi properties looking their best

You choose the jobs that suit your schedule, your transport, and your strengths. No one forces you to accept work you don't want.

You Keep What You Earn

Here's what makes Lumo different: you keep 90% of every job you complete, you get paid the same day, and you set your own hours. Right now, Lumo is recruiting 300 contractors in Kumasi, and the first 100 who complete 100 jobs will earn a loyalty bonus of 1,164 GHS (about $100 USD).

You already have what it takes. Stop waiting for someone else to recognize it. Apply on Lumo today and start earning what your skills are actually worth.
