Lagos: Turn Your Everyday Skills Into Real Income on Your Schedule
You Already Know How to Do Work That Pays
Finding good work in Lagos right now isn't easy. Too many talented people are underpaid for what they can actually do. But the truth is, the skills you use every day—driving through Third Mainland traffic, getting things done around the house, helping family with tech problems—are worth real money.
Lumo is a marketplace where Lagosians post jobs they need done, and independent contractors like you choose which ones to accept. You set your hours, work when it suits you, and keep 90% of what you earn. You get paid the same day, every time.
Right now, Lumo is recruiting 300 contractors across Lagos. Jobs open as neighbors and businesses post them, so signing up now means you're ready when the work comes in.
Three Ways to Earn
Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter If you have a vehicle and know your way around Lagos Island, Ikeja, Victoria Island, Lekki, or anywhere in between, delivery work lets you earn while you move. You decide which deliveries to take and when.
Laundry pickup: collect, wash, fold and return laundry for busy neighbors Many people in Lagos simply don't have time to handle laundry. If you can wash, fold, and return clothes reliably, this is steady work that fits around your schedule.
Tech help: setting up Wi-Fi, TVs, printers and phones If you're the person friends and family call when something won't connect or a device won't work, that skill is in demand. Help neighbors get their tech running smoothly and get paid for knowledge you already have.
You Keep What You Earn
Lumo takes just 10%, so the money you make actually stays with you. No waiting weeks for a paycheck—you're paid the same day. And right now, complete your first 100 jobs and you'll earn a loyalty bonus of 133,162 NGN (about $100 USD).
