The Job Search in Lagos Is Exhausting – But You Already Have What It Takes

Anyone looking for work in Lagos right now knows how tough it is. You send applications, wait for callbacks, and too often the pay doesn't match the effort. Meanwhile, the skills you already have – driving through Lagos traffic, moving heavy loads, or detailing a car until it shines – are worth real money right now.

Lumo is a marketplace that connects independent contractors like you directly to people across Lagos who need help with everyday jobs. You're not applying for a position. You're choosing which jobs to accept, setting your own schedule, and keeping 90% of every naira you earn. No uniforms, no shifts, no boss looking over your shoulder. Just honest work that pays what it should.

Three Ways to Earn on Your Own Terms

Lumo is recruiting 300 contractors in Lagos right now, and jobs open as neighbors and businesses post what they need. Here's the kind of work available:

• Delivery: Move food, groceries, and packages across town by car, bike, or scooter. Perfect if you know the roads and can navigate Lagos traffic efficiently. You choose which deliveries to take.
• Moving help: Load trucks, carry furniture, and assist with small moves. Ideal for anyone comfortable with physical work who wants to earn on their own schedule.
• Mobile car detailing: Wash and detail cars right in the customer's driveway. Great for detail-oriented people who take pride in quality work and want flexibility.

Every job type lets you decide what you accept. If a job doesn't work for your day, you simply pass.

A Bonus That Rewards Your Commitment

Complete your first 100 jobs on Lumo and you'll earn a loyalty bonus of 132,460 NGN (about $100 USD). It's our way of recognizing contractors who show up and do great work.
