Lagos: Turn the Skills You Already Have Into Real Income on Lumo

You Already Know How to Earn More

Finding good work in Lagos right now feels impossible. Too many people with real skills—driving through traffic, fixing what's broken, making things look new again—are stuck in jobs that underpay and undervalue what they can do. If you can navigate Lagos roads, handle tools, or detail a car until it shines, you already have what it takes to earn real money on your own terms.

Lumo is a marketplace that connects independent contractors with neighbors who need local help. You choose the jobs, set your own hours, and keep 90% of every naira you earn. No boss, no rigid schedule, just work that respects your time and pays you what your labor is actually worth. You get paid the same day, every time.

Three Ways to Start Earning in Lagos

Lumo is recruiting 300 contractors across Lagos, and you decide which jobs fit your life:

• Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter – If you know the roads from Victoria Island to Ikeja, from Lekki to Surulere, you can move what people need and earn on every trip. You accept the deliveries that make sense for your route and your day.

• Handyman repairs: mounting TVs, fixing doors, patching walls and small repairs – Neighbors always need help with the small fixes that pile up. If you're comfortable with basic tools and repairs, you can turn those skills into steady income around your schedule.

• Mobile car detailing: washing and detailing cars right in the customer's driveway – Bring the car wash to them. If you know how to make a vehicle look showroom-ready, you can build your own detailing business one job at a time, right in customers' compounds.

Earn More, Keep More, On Your Schedule

Every contractor who completes their first 100 jobs earns a loyalty bonus of 134,547 NGN (about $100 USD). That's on top of the 90% you keep from every single job. You're not working for Lumo—you're working for yourself, and Lumo just connects you with people who will pay fairly for what you do well.

Lagos runs on people who know how to get things done. If that's you, it's time your skills paid what they're worth. Sign up on Lumo today and start choosing the work that fits your life.
