Your Skills Are Worth Real Money in Lagos – Start Earning on Your Own Terms

Finding Good Work Shouldn't Be This Hard

If you've been searching for work in Lagos, you already know how tough it is right now. Too many positions pay far less than the effort they demand, and the daily hustle to make ends meet can feel endless. But here's something worth knowing: the skills you already have – driving through Lagos traffic, doing laundry with care, or detailing a car until it shines – are worth real money. You shouldn't have to settle for less than your labor deserves.

Lumo is a marketplace connecting independent contractors with neighbors who need help across Lagos. Whether you live in Victoria Island, Ikeja, Lekki, or anywhere else in the city, you can start earning on your schedule. You choose which jobs to accept, set your own hours, keep 90% of every naira you earn, and get paid the same day. No waiting, no wondering if your work is valued.

Three Ways to Earn Right Now

Lumo is recruiting 300 contractors in Lagos, and jobs open as local customers post them. Here's the kind of work available:

• Delivery: Move food, groceries, and packages across town by car, bike, or scooter. If you know the roads and can navigate Lagos efficiently, this work suits you. Accept the deliveries that fit your day.
• Laundry pickup: Collect, wash, fold, and return laundry for busy neighbors. Perfect if you take pride in careful work and want something you can do from home or nearby. You decide which orders to take.
• Mobile car detailing: Wash and detail cars right in the customer's driveway. If you have an eye for detail and the right supplies, this lets you serve clients across the city without needing a shop.

A Bonus That Rewards Your Commitment

Complete your first 100 jobs on Lumo and you'll earn a loyalty bonus of 134,549 NGN (about $100 USD). It's our way of recognizing contractors who show up and do great work.
