Lusaka: Get Ready to Earn What Your Skills Are Worth on Lumo

Work Is Hard to Find—And Too Often Underpaid

If you live in Lusaka, you already know how challenging it is to find steady work that respects your time and pays what you deserve. Too many jobs demand long hours, fixed schedules, and offer little in return. But the skills you already have—whether it's navigating the city's roads, lifting heavy furniture, or helping someone set up their Wi-Fi—are worth real money.

Lumo is a new marketplace connecting independent contractors with local customers who need help. We're recruiting 300 people in Lusaka right now to be ready when jobs start coming in. If you sign up now, you'll be first in line as neighbors post tasks—and you'll be working toward a 2,014 ZMW loyalty bonus (about $100 USD) after completing your first 100 jobs.

Three Ways to Earn on Your Own Terms

On Lumo, you choose the jobs that fit your schedule and skills. Here's the kind of work available:

• Delivery: Drive, bike, or scooter across Lusaka delivering food, groceries, and packages to customers. You decide which delivery requests to accept and when you're available.
• Moving help: Use your strength and reliability to help people load trucks, carry furniture, or handle small moves. Perfect if you're comfortable with physical work and want to earn on your own time.
• Tech help: Assist neighbors with everyday technology—setting up Wi-Fi routers, mounting TVs, connecting printers, or troubleshooting phones. If you're patient and good with gadgets, there's demand for this.

Every job is your choice. You're never locked into a shift or forced to accept work you don't want.

Keep 90% and Get Paid the Same Day

Lumo takes only 10%—you keep the rest. No waiting weeks for a paycheck: you're paid the same day you complete the work. You set your own hours around other commitments, whether that's family, studies, or another job.

Right now, jobs will open as local customers begin posting requests. By signing up now, you'll be ready to go the moment opportunities appear in your area—and you'll be on track for that loyalty bonus.
