Lusaka: Sign Up Now and Be First in Line for Local Jobs on Lumo
Good Work Is Hard to Find—But Your Skills Are Worth Real Money
If you live in Lusaka and you've been searching for flexible work that pays what you're actually worth, you already know how hard it can be. Too many jobs demand long hours for low pay, with no say over your schedule. But the skills you already have—driving across town, helping someone with a flat tire, or carrying heavy furniture—are valuable, and you deserve to be paid fairly for them.
Lumo is a new marketplace connecting local customers with independent contractors for everyday jobs. We're recruiting 300 workers in Lusaka right now, and we're looking for people who want to set their own hours, choose which jobs to accept, and keep 90% of what they earn. You get paid the same day, every time.
Sign Up Now and Be First in Line
Customers across Lusaka—from Kabulonga to Chelston to Matero and beyond—will start posting jobs soon. The contractors who sign up now will be first in line when that work opens up. Plus, if you complete your first 100 jobs, you'll earn a loyalty bonus of 2,022 ZMW (about $100 USD). That's on top of what you're already making from every job.
Three Types of Work, All on Your Terms
Here's what contractors do on Lumo:
- Delivery: Transport food, groceries, and packages across Lusaka by car, bike, or scooter. Perfect if you know the roads and want to stay moving. You choose which deliveries to accept.
- Roadside assistance: Help stranded drivers with jump-starts, flat-tire changes, lockouts, and fuel drop-offs. Great for anyone with a car and basic know-how. You decide when and where you're available.
- Moving help: Load trucks, carry furniture, and assist with small moves. Ideal if you're strong, reliable, and good with your hands. Every job is your choice.
You Decide What Your Time Is Worth
On Lumo, you're not an employee—you're an independent contractor. That means you control your schedule, pick the jobs you want, and earn what your labor is actually worth. No more sitting in traffic to a job that undervalues you. No more waiting weeks for a paycheck.
Sign up on Lumo today, get yourself ready, and be first in line when local customers in Lusaka start posting work.
