Lusaka: Keep 90% of What You Earn—Your Skills Are Worth More

You're Being Underpaid for What You Already Know How to Do

If you live in Lusaka and you're tired of working hard for wages that don't match your effort, you're not alone. The truth is, the skills you already have—driving across town, fixing what's broken, helping someone stuck on the side of the road—are worth real money. But too many jobs pay a fraction of what customers actually spend.

Lumo is different. It's a marketplace where you do local jobs for people in your community, and you keep 90% of what the customer pays. No one else is taking the lion's share. You set your own hours, choose which jobs to accept, and get paid the same day. You're finally in control, and you're earning what your time and skill are actually worth.

Three Ways to Earn on Your Terms

Lumo is recruiting 300 independent contractors in Lusaka right now. Here's the kind of work available:

• Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter – If you can navigate Lusaka's roads and have reliable transport, delivery work lets you earn on every trip. You decide which deliveries to take and when.

• Handyman repairs: mounting TVs, fixing doors, patching walls and small repairs – Good with your hands? People always need help with small fixes around the house. You bring the skills, they provide the work, and you keep nearly all of it.

• Roadside assistance: jump-starts, flat-tire changes, lockouts and fuel drop-offs – Know how to get a car running again or change a tire? Roadside jobs pay well because you're solving an urgent problem when someone really needs it.

Every job is yours to accept or decline. You're not locked into shifts or quotas.

A Bonus That Rewards You for Showing Up

Complete your first 100 jobs and Lumo pays you a loyalty bonus of 2,037 ZMW (about $100 USD). It's a thank-you for building trust with customers and proving your reliability.

You don't need an office job to earn a decent living in Lusaka. You need a platform that respects your work and pays you fairly for it. That's Lumo.
