Melbourne: Keep 90% of What You Earn—Your Skills Are Worth More

You're Worth More Than You're Being Paid

Finding decent work in Melbourne right now shouldn't be this hard. If you've got a car, a bike, a toolkit, or a solid pair of work gloves, you already have skills people will pay for—and you deserve to keep what you earn.

Too many platforms take a huge cut of your work. Lumo is different. You keep 90% of what the customer pays, every single job. You get paid the same day. You choose your own hours. And right now, Lumo is looking for 300 independent contractors across Melbourne to be ready when local jobs start coming in.

Three Types of Work, Your Choice

You decide which jobs to accept. Here's what's available:

• Delivery: Transport food, groceries, and packages across Melbourne by car, bike, or scooter. Perfect if you know the streets around Carlton, St Kilda, or Footscray and want flexible gig work that pays fairly.
• Handyman repairs: Mount TVs, fix squeaky doors, patch walls, assemble furniture—small jobs that don't require a trade license but do require someone reliable. Ideal if you're handy and like solving problems.
• Yard work: Mowing, raking, trimming hedges, tidying gardens. Great for anyone who doesn't mind physical work outdoors and wants to help neighbours keep their properties looking sharp.

Every job is local. No commuting across the city unless you choose to.

A Bonus That Rewards Real Work

Complete your first 100 jobs and Lumo pays you a 142 AUD loyalty bonus (about $100 USD). It's straightforward: do the work, earn the bonus, keep nearly everything customers pay you along the way.
