Finding Fair Pay in Melbourne Shouldn't Be This Hard
If you live in Melbourne and you're tired of work that underpays you for skills you already have, you're not alone. Whether you're great at getting around the city quickly, comfortable with technology, or handy with tools, those abilities are worth real money—and it's time someone paid you properly for them.
Lumo is a marketplace connecting locals who need help with independent contractors who can deliver it. We're recruiting 300 contractors across Melbourne right now, and if you sign up today, you'll be first in line when customers in your area start posting jobs. Plus, complete your first 100 jobs and you'll earn a loyalty bonus of 142 AUD (about $100 USD).
Three Types of Work, All on Your Schedule
You choose which jobs to accept and when you're available. Here's what's opening:
- Delivery: Transport food, groceries, and packages across Melbourne by car, bike, or scooter. Perfect if you know the streets well and like staying on the move.
- Tech help: Set up Wi-Fi routers, smart TVs, printers, phones, and other everyday tech for people who'd rather pay someone who knows what they're doing. Great for anyone comfortable with devices and patient enough to explain things.
- Furniture assembly: Put together beds, desks, shelves, and flat-pack furniture. Ideal if you're methodical, good with your hands, and don't mind a bit of physical work.
Every job is local. You're helping neighbors in your own community—people in Fitzroy, Carlton, St Kilda, and right across Melbourne.
You Keep 90%, Get Paid the Same Day, and Set Your Own Hours
Lumo takes 10%. You keep the rest. No waiting two weeks for a paycheck—you're paid the same day you complete the work. You decide when you're available, which jobs you take, and how much you want to earn.
Sign up now on Lumo and you'll be ready the moment local customers start posting. Your skills are worth more than you're being paid. It's time to prove it.
