Mogadishu: Get Paid What You're Worth, Same Day You Work

Finding Fair Work Shouldn't Be This Hard

If you live in Mogadishu, you already know: finding work that pays what you deserve is a challenge. Too many jobs demand long hours for too little pay, with money that doesn't arrive when you need it. But the skills you already have—driving across town, caring for animals, helping someone whose car won't start—are worth real money. You shouldn't have to wait weeks to see it.

Lumo is a marketplace connecting independent contractors with people who need help right here in Mogadishu. You choose the jobs you want, work when it suits you, and keep 90% of every shilling you earn. Best of all? You get paid the same day you complete the work. No delays, no excuses.

Three Ways to Earn on Your Terms

Lumo is recruiting 300 contractors across Mogadishu right now. Here's the kind of work available as jobs are posted:

• Delivery: Transport food, groceries, and packages across the city by car, bike, or scooter. Perfect if you know the streets and want flexibility. You decide which deliveries to accept.
• Pet Care: Offer dog walking, pet sitting, or drop-in visits for residents who need reliable help. Ideal if you're patient, love animals, and want to set your own schedule.
• Roadside Assistance: Provide jump-starts, flat-tire changes, lockout help, and fuel drop-offs to drivers in need. Great for anyone with basic vehicle knowledge and tools who wants to be their own boss.

Every job is yours to accept or decline. You're in control.

A Bonus That Rewards Your Commitment

Complete your first 100 jobs on Lumo and you'll earn a loyalty bonus of 57,266 SOS (about $100 USD). It's our way of recognizing contractors who show up and do excellent work.

You set the hours. You keep most of what you earn. You get paid today, not next month. That's how work should be.
