Montreal: Your Skills Are Worth More Than You're Getting Paid

The Job Market Is Rough, But You Already Have What It Takes

If you've been searching for work in Montreal lately, you know how frustrating it's become. Endless applications, low offers, jobs that don't respect your time or skills. Meanwhile, you can already do things people actually need: you know how to get across town efficiently, you can clean a space properly, or you're handy with basic repairs.

Those skills are worth real money right now. Lumo is a marketplace where Montrealers post jobs they need done—and you decide which ones to accept, set your own hours, and keep 90% of what you earn. No boss, no set schedule, just work that pays what your labor is actually worth.

Three Ways to Start Earning

Lumo is currently bringing on 300 contractors across Montreal. Here's the kind of work available:

• Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter – If you know your way around the city and have reliable transportation, you can start accepting delivery jobs. You choose which orders to take and when to work.
• Home cleaning: apartments, homes and move-out cleans – Montrealers need help keeping their places clean, especially during busy seasons and move-out time. If you're thorough and reliable, this work suits you.
• Handyman repairs: mounting TVs, fixing doors, patching walls and small repairs – Small repairs pile up fast. If you're comfortable with basic tools and problem-solving, neighbors will pay well for your help.

You're not locked into one type of work. Accept the jobs that make sense for your skills and schedule.

You Get Paid What You Earn—Same Day

On Lumo, you keep 90% of every job, and you get paid the same day you complete the work. No waiting two weeks, no surprise deductions. Plus, right now, complete your first 100 jobs and you'll earn a 140 CAD (about $100 USD) loyalty bonus on top of what you've already made.

The job market isn't getting easier, but you don't have to wait for it to improve. Apply on Lumo today and start turning the skills you already have into real income.
