Nairobi: Turn Your Everyday Skills Into Real Income on Lumo

Your Skills Are Worth More Than You're Being Paid

Finding reliable work in Nairobi shouldn't feel this hard. Whether you're navigating traffic from Westlands to Kilimani or know the quickest routes through Eastleigh, you already have skills that people need—and they're worth real money.

Too many of us are underpaid for what we can actually do. You know how to get across town efficiently. You can pick up groceries, handle a pharmacy run, or manage laundry. These aren't small things—they're exactly what busy neighbors, families, and professionals need help with every single day.

Lumo is a marketplace that connects you directly with people in Nairobi who need these services. You choose the jobs that work for you, set your own hours, and keep 90% of what you earn. You get paid the same day, every time. No waiting, no surprises.

Three Ways to Earn on Lumo

Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter If you have reliable transport and know Nairobi's roads, delivery work lets you earn while you move. You decide which delivery jobs to accept based on distance, timing, and pay.

Errands: pharmacy runs, returns, waiting in line and shopping trips Perfect for anyone who's organized and doesn't mind being on the move. Customers need someone they can trust to pick up medication, return items, or stand in line so they don't have to. You choose what fits your day.

Laundry pickup: collect, wash, fold and return laundry for busy neighbors If you're good with laundry and have the time, this work suits people who prefer a predictable routine. Collect, wash, fold, and return—all on your own schedule.
