Nairobi: Sign Up Now for Delivery, Laundry and Pet Care Jobs—Earn What You're Worth

Finding Good Work in Nairobi Just Got Easier

If you live in Nairobi and you're tired of being underpaid for honest work, this is for you. Lumo is a new marketplace connecting independent contractors with neighbors who need help—and we're looking for 300 people to sign up now.

You already have skills worth real money: driving through Westlands traffic, knowing the shortcuts from Parklands to the CBD, folding a week's laundry, or caring for a nervous dog while its owner travels. On Lumo, you keep 90% of every job you do, you get paid the same day, and you choose which jobs to accept. No boss, no fixed schedule—just fair pay for work you're already good at.

Three Types of Jobs You Can Do

• Delivery: Move food, groceries, and packages across Nairobi by car, bike, or scooter. You pick the deliveries that make sense for your route and your day.
• Laundry pickup: Collect laundry from busy neighbors, wash and fold it, then return it. Perfect if you're detail-oriented and take pride in doing things properly.
• Pet care: Walk dogs, pet-sit, or drop in on animals when their owners are at work or away. Ideal if you're calm, reliable, and love spending time with pets.

Each job is different. You see the details, the pay, and the location—then you decide whether to accept it.

Sign Up Now, Earn a Loyalty Bonus Later

Lumo is still building its customer base in Nairobi, so jobs will open as local people begin posting requests. By signing up now, you'll be first in line when that happens.

Even better: complete your first 100 jobs and Lumo will pay you a 12,985 KES loyalty bonus (about $100 USD). That's money on top of what you've already earned.

You Deserve to Be Paid What Your Work Is Worth

Right now, finding decent work in Nairobi is hard. Too many people with real skills are stuck in jobs that don't respect their time or pay them fairly. Lumo is different: you control your schedule, you see every shilling you earn, and you get paid today for today's work.
