Port Harcourt: Turn Your Everyday Skills Into Real Income on Lumo

Your Skills Are Worth More Than You're Being Paid

Finding good work in Port Harcourt right now is harder than it should be. Too many skilled people—drivers who know every shortcut, handymen who can fix anything, workers who can put together furniture with their eyes closed—are underpaid or waiting for opportunities that never come.

The truth is, you already know how to do work that people need. Families across Port Harcourt need reliable help with everyday tasks, and they're willing to pay fairly for it. Lumo is a marketplace that connects you directly to those jobs, and we're recruiting 300 independent contractors right now to be ready when local customers start posting.

Three Types of Work, All on Your Schedule

You choose which jobs to accept, and you keep 90% of what you earn. Here's the work available:

• Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter – If you have a vehicle and know Port Harcourt's roads, you can start earning immediately. Accept the deliveries that work for your route and schedule.
• Handyman repairs: mounting TVs, fixing doors, patching walls and small repairs – Small repairs are always in demand. If you're good with tools and can solve problems, homeowners and renters need your help.
• Furniture assembly: putting together beds, desks, shelves and flat-pack furniture – Flat-pack furniture frustrates everyone. If you can read instructions and use basic tools, this work suits you—and it pays well for a few hours of effort.

Earn What Your Labor Is Actually Worth

On Lumo, you set your own hours. Work in the morning, between other commitments, or on weekends—it's entirely up to you. You get paid the same day, every time. No waiting weeks for your money.

Right now, the first 100 contractors who complete 100 jobs earn a loyalty bonus of 133,268 NGN (about $100 USD). That's on top of what you're already keeping from every job.
