Your Skills Are Worth More
If you live in Port Harcourt, you already know how hard it is to find work that pays fairly and respects your time. Too many people with real skills—driving, running errands, fixing things—are stuck earning less than their labor is worth. Whether you're in Rumuola, Old GRA, Trans Amadi, or anywhere across the Garden City, you have abilities that neighbours need and will pay for.
Lumo is a marketplace connecting independent contractors with local customers who need help. We're looking for 300 people in Port Harcourt to sign up now, so you're ready when jobs start coming in. You choose which jobs to accept, set your own schedule, keep 90% of every naira you earn, and get paid the same day you complete the work.
Three Types of Work, Your Choice
Here's what you can do on Name:
- Delivery: Move food, groceries, and packages across town by car, bike, or scooter. Perfect if you know the roads and have reliable transport. Accept the deliveries that work for your route and timing.
- Errands: Handle pharmacy runs, returns, waiting in line, and shopping trips for people who are too busy or need the help. Ideal if you're organized and good with people. Pick the errands that fit your day.
- Furniture assembly: Put together beds, desks, shelves, and flat-pack furniture. Great if you're handy with tools and enjoy solving puzzles. Choose the assembly jobs you want to take on.
You're never locked into one type of work—accept what suits you.
