Pretoria: You're Worth More Than You're Being Paid

Your Work Has Value—It's Time You Kept It

If you live in Pretoria, you already know how hard it is to find work that pays what you deserve. Too many people with real skills—driving, running errands, assembling furniture—are stuck in jobs that underpay them for what they can actually do. The truth is simple: your time and effort are worth more than you're being paid.

Lumo is building a marketplace where that changes. We're recruiting 300 independent contractors across Pretoria right now, and we're offering something different: you keep 90% of what the customer pays. No hidden cuts. No surprises. You get paid the same day, every time.

The Work You Choose, On Your Schedule

Lumo connects you with local customers who need help with everyday tasks. You decide which jobs to accept, when to work, and where. Here's what's available:

• Delivery: Move food, groceries, and packages across Pretoria by car, bike, or scooter—perfect if you know the city and want flexible driving work
• Errands: Handle pharmacy runs, returns, shopping trips, and waiting in line for people who need an extra hand
• Furniture assembly: Put together beds, desks, shelves, and flat-pack furniture for households and offices—great if you're handy and like straightforward, satisfying work

Whether you're in Arcadia, Hatfield, or Brooklyn, customers near you will post jobs as soon as contractors like you are ready.

A Loyalty Bonus That Rewards Your Effort

Complete your first 100 jobs and Lumo will pay you a 1,658 ZAR loyalty bonus (about $100 USD). It's our way of recognizing the contractors who show up and do the work.

You're not looking for a handout. You're looking for fair pay for fair work. Lumo is ready when you are.
