Queens: Keep 90% of Every Job You Do — You're Worth More

You're Worth More Than You're Being Paid

If you live in Queens — whether that's Astoria, Flushing, Forest Hills, Jackson Heights, or anywhere else across the borough — you already know: finding good work that actually pays what you're worth is harder than it should be. You can drive, lift, fix things, help neighbors get where they need to go. Those skills matter. They're valuable. And right now, too many people doing that work are getting a raw deal.

Lumo is building something different. We're a marketplace that connects independent contractors with local customers who need help — and we believe you should keep the money you earn. That's why contractors on Lumo keep 90% of what customers pay for every single job. No hidden fees. No surprise deductions. You do the work, you get paid the same day, and you actually earn what your labor is worth.

Three Types of Work, Your Choice

When you sign up with Lumo, you choose which jobs to accept. Here's what's available:

• Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter — Perfect if you know Queens inside and out, have reliable wheels, and like staying on the move. Accept the deliveries that make sense for your schedule.
• Rides: driving neighbors to work, appointments and the airport — If you've got a car and a clean driving record, this is straightforward income. Morning commutes to Manhattan, medical appointments, airport runs — you decide which trips work for you.
• Furniture assembly: putting together beds, desks, shelves and flat-pack furniture — Good with tools and instructions? People always need help with IKEA hauls and home office setups. Choose the jobs that fit your skill level and calendar.

A Loyalty Bonus That Rewards Your Work

Lumo is recruiting 300 contractors across Queens right now, and we're offering a $100 USD loyalty bonus after you complete your first 100 jobs. It's our way of saying thank you for building this with us.

Set Your Hours, Earn What You Deserve

You decide when you work. Early mornings in LIC before the rush, evenings in Forest Hills, weekends across the borough — it's up to you. And because you keep 90% and get paid same-day, you're finally in control of your income.
