Queens: Get Paid What You're Worth—Same Day, Your Hours
Finding Fair Work in Queens Is Harder Than It Should Be
If you live in Queens—whether you're in Astoria, LIC, Flushing, Forest Hills, or Jackson Heights—you already know how hard it is to find work that respects your time and pays what you're actually worth. You've got skills: you can drive, fix things, handle a lawnmower, navigate the borough better than anyone. But too many jobs underpay for what you bring to the table.
Lumo is a local jobs marketplace built differently. You work when you want, keep 90% of what you earn on every job, and get paid the same day you do the work. No waiting two weeks. No surprise deductions. Just fair pay for honest work.
Right now, Lumo is looking for 300 independent contractors across Queens to be ready as jobs open. Here's the kind of work available:
Three Types of Jobs You Can Choose From
Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter If you know the streets and have reliable transportation, delivery work lets you move at your own pace. Accept the jobs you want, skip the ones you don't.
Roadside assistance: jump-starts, flat-tire changes, lockouts and fuel drop-offs Got basic car knowledge and a few tools? Roadside assistance is straightforward, pays well, and helps people when they really need it. You choose which calls to take.
Yard work: mowing, raking, hedge trimming and garden clean-ups If you're comfortable with outdoor work and know your way around a yard, these jobs are steady, seasonal, and perfect for people who like working with their hands.
A Loyalty Bonus That Actually Rewards You
Complete your first 100 jobs on Lumo and you'll earn a $100 USD loyalty bonus—on top of what you've already made. It's our way of saying thank you for being part of the community from the start.
