Sokoto: Get Paid What You're Worth—Same Day, Every Day
Finding Fair Work Shouldn't Be This Hard
If you live in Sokoto, you already know: finding work that actually pays what your time and effort are worth is harder than it should be. Too many people with real skills—driving, fixing problems, helping neighbors—are getting by on less than they deserve.
Lumo is building something different. We're a marketplace where local people do local jobs, set their own schedules, and keep 90% of every naira they earn. No waiting weeks for payment—you get paid the same day you complete the work.
We're recruiting 300 contractors across Sokoto right now. When customers in your area post jobs, you'll be ready to claim the ones that fit your day.
Three Types of Work, All on Your Terms
You choose which jobs to accept. Here's what's available:
Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter If you've got wheels and know the streets of Sokoto—from the Central Market to Mabera, from Runjin Sambo to the quieter neighborhoods—delivery work lets you earn while you move. Customers need meals, groceries, and packages brought to their door. You pick the jobs that make sense for your route.
Roadside assistance: jump-starts, flat-tire changes, lockouts and fuel drop-offs Good with tools? Comfortable helping stranded drivers? Roadside work suits people who can solve problems on the spot. Someone's battery dies near the roundabout, a tire goes flat on the edge of town—you show up, fix it, get paid.
Laundry pickup: collect, wash, fold and return laundry for busy neighbors Busy families and professionals need help keeping up. You collect their laundry, wash and fold it properly, and return it clean. Straightforward work that fits around your own schedule.
