Soweto: Get Paid What You're Worth—Sign Up Now, Earn Later + Loyalty Bonus

Your Skills Are Worth Real Money

If you live in Soweto, you know how hard it is to find work that respects your time and pays you fairly. Whether you're in Orlando East, Diepkloof, or Kliptown, the reality is the same: too many jobs expect too much and pay too little. The skills you already have—driving, running errands, helping people with tech problems—are worth real money. You shouldn't have to settle for less.

Lumo is a marketplace where people in Soweto post local jobs, and you decide which ones to accept. You set your own hours, keep 90% of every rand you earn, and get paid the same day. No boss, no fixed schedule, just work that fits your life. Right now, Lumo is recruiting 300 contractors in Soweto to be ready when local customers start posting jobs.

Three Ways to Earn on Lumo

• Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter – If you have reliable transport and know Soweto's roads, delivery work lets you move at your own pace. You choose which delivery jobs to accept, whether it's a quick food run or a larger grocery order.

• Errands: pharmacy runs, returns, waiting in line and shopping trips – Neighbors need help with everyday tasks—picking up prescriptions, standing in queues, returning items, or doing shopping trips. If you're good at getting things done, errands are steady work you can fit around your day.

• Tech help: setting up Wi-Fi, TVs, printers and phones – Many people in Soweto need someone patient and knowledgeable to help them get their devices working. If you can set up a router, connect a TV, or troubleshoot a phone, you can earn good money helping your community.
