Soweto: Sign Up Now on Lumo and Be Ready When Jobs Go Live

Finding Good Work Shouldn't Be This Hard

If you live in Soweto, you already know: the job market is tough, and too many of us are working hard for less than we deserve. But the skills you already have—driving, cleaning, running errands, helping neighbors with what they need—are worth real money. The problem isn't your ability. It's finding work that actually pays you fairly and lets you control your own time.

That's where Lumo comes in. We're building a marketplace that connects people across Soweto with local contractors who can help with everyday jobs. And right now, we're looking for 300 people to sign up so they're ready the moment jobs start coming in.

Three Types of Work, Your Choice Every Time

On Lumo, you decide which jobs to accept. Here's what will be available:

• Delivery: Moving food, groceries, and packages across Soweto—by car, bike, or scooter. Perfect if you know the streets and want flexible work that keeps you moving.
• Home cleaning: Apartments, houses, and move-out cleans for residents who need a hand. Suits anyone with an eye for detail and pride in leaving a space spotless.
• Errands: Pharmacy runs, returns, waiting in line, shopping trips—the tasks people need done but don't have time for. Ideal if you're organized and reliable.

You're not locked into one type. Accept the jobs that fit your schedule and skills.

Why Sign Up Right Now

Jobs open as local customers post them. By signing up today, you're first in line when that happens. You'll also be eligible for Lumo's loyalty bonus: complete your first 100 jobs and earn 1,667 ZAR (about $100 USD)—on top of what you've already made.

Here's how Lumo works differently:

• You keep 90% of every job. Your labor, your earnings.
• Get paid the same day. No waiting weeks for what you've earned.
• Set your own hours. Work when it suits you, not someone else's shift.

This is about getting paid what you're worth and having control over your time.
