Soweto: Sign Up Now on Lumo and Be First When Jobs Start Rolling In

Finding Good Work Shouldn't Be This Hard

If you live in Soweto, you already know how tough the job market can be right now. Too many people with real skills—driving, fixing things, running errands, helping neighbors—are either sitting on the sideline or working for far less than their labor is worth. You deserve better, and Lumo is here to make that happen.

Lumo is a new marketplace connecting independent contractors with local customers who need help. We're recruiting 300 contractors across Soweto right now, and if you sign up today, you'll be first in line when jobs start coming in. Plus, complete your first 100 jobs and you'll earn a 1,645 ZAR loyalty bonus (about $100 USD) on top of what you've already made.

Three Types of Work, You Choose What Fits

On Lumo, you're in control. You pick the jobs you want, set your own hours, and keep 90% of every rand you earn. Here's what's available:

• Delivery: Move food, groceries, and packages across Soweto by car, bike, or scooter. Perfect if you know the streets and have reliable transport.
• Errands: Help people with pharmacy runs, shopping trips, returns, or waiting in line. Ideal if you're organized and like variety.
• Handyman repairs: Mount TVs, fix doors, patch walls, and handle small repairs around the home. Great for anyone handy with tools.

Every job is something someone in your community actually needs done, and you decide which ones to accept.

You Get Paid the Same Day

No waiting weeks for a paycheck. On Lumo, you're paid the same day you finish the job. You're not working for someone else's schedule or someone else's cut—you're working for yourself, and you finally earn what your time and skill are actually worth.

Sign Up Now, Be Ready

Jobs open as local customers post them, and the contractors who sign up first will be first to see them. If you're ready to take control of your work and your earnings, apply on Lumo today. Soweto, let's get to work.
