Sydney: Get Paid What You're Actually Worth, Same Day

You Already Have the Skills. Now Get Paid What They're Worth.

Finding decent work in Sydney right now shouldn't be this hard. You know how to drive, run errands, or care for someone's pet—these aren't small things. They're valuable skills that people need every single day, from the Inner West to the Northern Beaches, and everywhere in between.

The problem? Too many platforms pay you a fraction of what the work is actually worth, take massive cuts, and leave you waiting days for your money.

Lumo works differently. We're a marketplace connecting independent contractors with local jobs across Sydney. You choose the work that suits you, set your own hours, keep 90% of what you earn, and get paid the same day you complete the job. No waiting. No guessing what you'll actually take home.

Three Types of Work, All on Your Terms

Lumo is currently recruiting 300 contractors in Sydney. Here's the kind of work available:

• Delivery: Moving food, groceries, and packages across town by car, bike, or scooter. Perfect if you know Sydney's streets and want flexible hours between other commitments.
• Errands: Pharmacy runs, returns, waiting in line, shopping trips—the tasks that eat up someone's day but might fit perfectly into yours. Great for locals who are already out and about.
• Pet Care: Dog walking, pet sitting, and drop-in visits for neighbours who need reliable help. Ideal if you love animals and want work that feels less like work.

You're in control. Accept the jobs you want, skip the ones you don't.

A Bonus That Rewards Real Work

Complete your first 100 jobs and Lumo pays you a 142 AUD loyalty bonus (about $100 USD). It's our way of recognizing contractors who show up and do the work well.
